Teen Help Programs in Florida
Many parents from Florida will call us looking for assistance.
If you are located in Florida, they offer the 211 Helpline which is a parent’s helpline. Call 2-1-1 from any Florida landline or cell phone for more information. This is provided through the United Way.
Looking for insurance based programs in Florida for residential care are limited.
Two that are most frequently used that accept most insurances are:
Sandy Pines, Tequesta, FL (561) 744-0211
LaAmistad, Maitland, FL (407) 647-0211
Call for more information on them to determine if they will accept your insurance and fit your needs.
If you are searching for private pay facilities, they typically accept PPO insurances only and are usually outside of the state of Florida. They’re usually not hospital type settings. We share with parents that selecting a residential program shouldn’t be determined on the geographic location, it should be on what best fits your teen’s needs. Contact us for more information.
